Confirmation II Retreat
Date: Friday, April 11, 2025-April 13,2025
Location: Saint Edwards Retreat Center
At this time we are NOT enrolling teens from other parishes in St. Denis' Confirmation II Retreat.
We will open registration February, 1 2025 for enrolled from other parishes' Confirmation II program. The last date to register is March 21, 2025.
We will need an email/letter from the Director of Confirmation stating the teen cannot attend their Confirmation II Retreat, in addition to registration information and a $295.00 retreat fee.

Make up Assignments

Instructions
Make up assignments consist of a 1 page MLA format reflection (student's choice of Word or Google Doc) on the teen's choice of two (2) readings for the date they missed.
Teens can email their make up assignment to
[email protected] with the
Subject: Date of absence make up assignment.
Teens can follow the steps of lectio divina (divine reading) to help them reflect on the reading. The video below outlines the steps and provides an example of how to pray this way.
Step 1: Reading- what does the passage say?
Step 2: Mediate- what sticks out to you?
Step 3: Prayer- conversation with God about what you read and mediated on
Step 4: Contemplation- pure gift from God. "Just chilling with God." Allowing God to gaze upon you and you upon Him.
Step 5: Action- what concrete action can I do based on my time reading, mediating, praying and perhaps contemplating with the Lord? -
